Ponds & Dams

We work with clients to help design and maintain beautiful ponds, with careful consideration of their unique vision and environment, such as natural water sources and soil layers.  Kapusta Excavating has an excellent track record building ponds that are healthy, beautiful and easy to maintain.

Keeping family and pets safe.   With decades of experience developing ponds in Vermont, we help our clients create healthy ponds that fit within their budget and look perfectly natural in their setting.   A poorly designed pond is susceptible to unwanted plant, bacterial and algae growth, which can cause health issues for residents, pets and wildlife.   Many factors influence water quality and clarity, including depth and filtration. At Kapusta Excavating, we adhere to local, state  and federal pond design guidelines to ensure your pond will be healthy, clean and hassle free.

At the state level, the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (VTDEC), located in Montpelier VT, provides good information about pond design considerations
